G'day Russell

Great Southern has been proposed for next year's calendar and looks like being on or about 27 October 2008

Kevin Ware tells me that him and Chris Rogers have put in a proposal for a 1200 in Gippsland in about March 2008.

Hi, looking forward to the Great Southern, about how many participants and It will depend for me on the cost of the flight whether I come or not.

G'day Chris

Hard to tell how many starters we might have next year. In 2004 we had about 20 or so, about half of which were from overseas. As I recall we had 1 Brit, 1 Belgian, 2 Canadians, 3 from USA and one from Brazil. Thus it is on the other end of the scale from PBP though the mix is similar. Given the increasing world wide interest in 1200km events we might have 30. Japan might send some.

You will be most welcome to join us and you might well be made a fuss of.

Cheers

Ian

Does anyone know what spots are best for grabbing a sleep along the way?
