A place for Audax riders to
meet!
The Audax-Oz email mailing
list has been established to facilitate communication between
the members of the Audax Club of Australia and other interested
riders. It is hosted for us by the State Library of Victoria and
uses the Mailman software.
"The list" provides
a simple email-based way of communicating with around 300 audax
members and interested sysclists in Australia and overseas.
By sending an email message
to "the list" you will be sending it to all others who have subscribed
(see below). So, be careful, be polite, and remember you don't
know who may be reading what you are writing.
Posters of offensive messages
will be excommunicated from the list!
The best way to join and manage
your subscription is through the Management
page at Vicnet. There are a number options you can
use to enhance your access to the list - including a digest mode.

Recent messages to the list
can be viewed on the archive
page
In your favourite emailer
just create a message, with subject lines, addresses to other
people and any other fancy features you like using and the send
message to: audax-oz@vicnet.net.au
(you can click on the address here too!).
To make it easy for everyone
else to know who you are please sign your message with your (real)
name. You can do this by having a signature file associated with
your emailer, in most cases 8-)
Remember: the list is
for fun and for discussions about stupidly long distance bicycling!

Who
can subscribe
At present membership of the list is by approval. This lets
us learn a little about how to get up and running without
being swamped by spammers and the like.
If you are member of Audax Australia your subscription will
be approved without question.
We welcome members from other ACP affiliated organisations,
clubs and individuals who are interested in the activities
of Audax Australia. We will ask you to confirm your interest
with us before we add you to the list.
