Leave Adelaide via Windy Point, and head to the secluded Onkaparinga Gorge Lookout via Cherry Gardens and Chandlers Hill. Onward to Macclesfield via Clarendon and travel north through historic Hahndorf and Balhannah, following the lovely Amy Gillet Bikeway to Mount Torrens. Return via Birdwood, past the Kangaroo Creek Reservoir and descend through a picturesque Gorge before joining the River Torrens Linear Park Trail back to Adelaide.

A scenic wander through the forests and roads between One Tree Hill, Kersbrook and Lyndoch. A few little climbs on the fire tracks in the forests, but the tranquil surroundings makes it all so pleasant! Then the very nice dirt roads dotted with small hobby farms between the outskirts of Gawler, Lyndoch and Williamstown. Returning home via the very pleasant Bassnet Road. (49% dirt,  1493m climbing,  and time allowed 8hr 24min)

From Armidale to the cafe/microbrewery/alternative town of Uralla, then South to Walcha before returning through Uralla to Armidale. There are likely to be several close encounters with moos, roos and ewes. There are plenty of places for refueling at Uralla (The Pie Mechanic and The Alternate Root are good options) and Walcha (The Fruit Shop does a good toastie and coffee, and Cafe Graze is recommended too). The route has almost 80km of gravel.

The descent at 178 km is steep and the surface is unpredictable - take care. The route has 64km of gravel.

BP Atherton - Kairi 50 Loop Gallery 5,Herberton Rd, Atherton

This relaxing 50 km loop promises some of the flattest riding the central Tablelands has on offer. Start in Atherton and head south through Wongabel, before turning eastwards. After a quick loop around the Golden Triangle of Kairi and Tolga, head back into Atherton for a well-deserved coffee break.

From Atherton, enjoy an easy downhill cruise northwards to Walkamin, before turning to tackle the sneaky uphill climb back to Tolga. Ride through the flat areas of the Golden Triangle, through Yungaburra and Peeramon to Malanda. Return through the Wongabel area to Atherton.

BP Atherton Crater Loop Atherton

A small extension of the much-loved Crater loop.  Start in Atherton and head up the Herberton Range to Longlands Gap.  Then it’s mostly downhill through the rainforest before enjoying spectacular views along the ridgeline of Upper Barron to Yungaburra.  Finish with a flatter loop through the Kairi area back to Atherton.
