Reference: https://www.audax.org.au/public/index.php/other-audax-rides/super-randonnee
Riders can elect to either of two classes:

  • Tourist - requirement of 80km distance per day over consecutive days (7 day limit), or
  • Randonneur - with a 60 hour time limit to complete the route.

There are checkpoints en-route but unlike a traditional brevet ride the checkpoints do not have cutoff times, the only time restriction for the brevet is the finish time.

604/600 Melbourne and suburbs VIC
BP Victoria High Plains Super Randonnée Myrtleford

This ride is extremely challenging not just because it is a Super Randonnée, but also because it contains a high portion of unsealed roads and passes through some remote territory. You should be confident of your ability before undertaking this ride.

The official Audax Club Parisien has the complete set of rules and guidelines for the Super Randonnée. It should also be noted that the ACP are also directly responsible for the ratification and homologation of Super Randonnées.

For Randonneur the maximum allowed time to complete the ride is 60 hours.

This is a summer only ride due to the winter road closure.
